About The Campfire Method

Ideas don't represent themselves.

Someone has to stand with them, give them shape, and carry them into the room with enough intention that they move audiences to act. That's always been true, but modern presenters have spent decades outsourcing that responsibility and calling it preparation.

The Campfire Method is a four-part framework built around the forces that determine whether ideas take hold: knowing your audience as humans under pressure, crafting stories that earn belief rather than demand it, designing environments that serve meaning, and showing up as a communicator whose presence does the work.

It's a higher standard.

And it starts with making the commitment to give the presentation the respect it deserves.

About Eric Harris

Author of The Campfire Method

EHarris_BioHeadshot

Eric Harris is the founder of GatherRound and the inventor of The Campfire Method, a framework for presenters who need to move people toward complex ideas in high-stakes moments.

A former brand and ad agency leader, Eric launched GatherRound in 2015 after watching strong ideas repeatedly fail in the rooms where they should have won. Not because the ideas were weak, but because selling them is a skill most leaders are never taught. To close that gap, Eric created The Campfire Method. It has since been adopted by leadership teams at The Beck Group, Activision/Blizzard, Yum! Brands, and others. Eric also teaches Executive Presence and Strategic Storytelling at TCU Neeley Executive Education.

He believes your ideas have the potential to change the world. All they need is for you to light the fire.
